Our Dorpers are raised with a hands on approach along with a  grass based feeding program. We select for worm resistance, mothering
abilities and easy going traits which makes are dorpers a wonderful addition to any breeding program or pet type situation. Meat quality is
healthy, mild flavored and a must try for those that have not had lamb or would like to try lamb for the first time. We try to offer a couple small
starter flocks every spring at a group rate which tend to sell quickly, please call or email if you have interest in 2 to 3 ewes and a young ram.

We enjoy eating our fork tender slow roasted leg of lamb
as well as shanks, chops, steaks and ground.
We raise our lambs humanely, with a hands on approach weaning on local corn, oats,
and alfalfa, finishing on grass and hay which provides a very lean healthy protein.  All lambs
are born here on our farm, we do not buy feeder lambs and finish for market which assures us
no antibiotics artificial insemination (hormones) ect... This is why we have a  limited supply.

We know you will enjoy our lamb as much as we do!
Soon we will be posting our favorite recipes!
