SUNRAZED MICHIGAN DORPERS

Dorpers are a perfect fit to our farm as they are low maintenance,
self shedding, breed out of season and are bred on our farm for
worm resistance which allows us to offer the finest farm fresh
American grass fed lamb.

Unlike feedlot lambs that are wormed routinely and often given
antibiotics for preventive measures. You can be assured SunRazed
lamb is raised with an all natural approach using a rotational
grazing system with are cattle to provide for a more parasite free
grazing pasture. We are careful not to over graze these area's
therefore we feed high quality hay purchased locally when pasture
is at a minimum.

As we strive to become self sustaining and produce fresh
wholesome food our Dorper Sheep and lamb provide
natural fertilizer for our produce and by maintaining a closed flock
you can be more comfortable knowing they are not feed lot raised
or purchased but instead born and raised here in Northern
Michigan

From our research and our experience it is our approach to not
provide large amounts of natural grains to our sheep but to let them
grow at a more natural pace as the Dorper's were bred to do
therefore producing a naturally low fat, lower cholesterol freezer
lamb, which provides for a wonderful delicate, slightly sweet, mild
flavored lamb you are sure to love.
